Warehouse Director – Texas:
**This candidate must be fluent in Spanish and will travel to the main warehouse in El Paso (largest) and Houston**
The Warehouse Operations Director role requires an individual to drive improvement, efficiency, and standardization within the operational process within the responsible office. This leader will need to work closely with the business development/sales team and the existing operations team to ensure proper handoff between the two groups. In a certain capacity, you will be the implementation manager to ensure sales/business development stays active in the field while operations are executed flawlessly. While the company is in the growth stage you will also be required to help with Site productivity efforts. This will take the form of measuring each office' s efficiency by mode, documenting and refining VAS process to ensure rapid onboarding of new staff, and playing a role as a business analyst.
Responsibilities:
• Be able to accompany business development/sales to client meetings and be the subject matter expert.
• Share relevant market trends and provide benchmarking information to customers in order to validate the customer' s competitive position.
• Maintain flexibility and create solutions to changing customer needs
• Improve key areas of client loyalty and internal business unit loyalty by being customer service focused
• Share through numbers, numbers don' t lie, be an ambassador to the company vision of data acc
• Develop a training strategy related to operational staff and hiring
• Introduce strategic ideas and be a driver of thought leadership by accessing other company clients, executives, and research in order to gather and distribute leading-edge practices.
• Research automation material handling equipment and efficiency throughout hubs
• Keep appropriate people across the company informed of accounts direction and relevant activities using various forms of communication.
• Improve key areas of client loyalty including business fit
• Analyze and communicate savings, cost avoidance, and potential cost/service tradeoff areas to the client.
• Accountable to improve net income results and drive continuous process improvements to enhance mutual value by creating and using business analytics & reporting (technology, supply chain solutions, best practices, etc.)
• Identify and Define technology and continuous improvement projects that drive cost savings and productivity to the client as well as improved efficiencies for the company
• Develop & Propose project charters (e.G. Objectives, scope, risk, approach, resources, & budget) to internal and external leadership while demonetarizing the project' s ROI for both client and the customer when implementing new business.
• Implement project management procedures to effectively manage project work, deadlines, and communication.
• Plan & Source necessary resources to efficiently manage the overall business while maintaining baseline HC/File ratios.
• ISO9001: be able to introduce ISO9001 best practices into the company (nice to have)
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree
Language: Spanish (must-have)
10-15+ years of experience with Operational roles/warehouse experience – multiple locations are highly preferred
Experience leading a group or team (must-have)

• Willingness & Ability to travel 25-30% of the time
