Status: Full-Time | Exempt
Are you a strategic thinker who thrives at the intersection of planning, logistics, and cross-functional execution? Our client is seeking a Supply Planning & Logistics Manager to lead the coordination of their supply chain, from internal production to external partnerships, ensuring they deliver for their customers efficiently, cost-effectively, and without disruption.
This role is central to their operations and requires a blend of tactical execution and strategic insight. You'll collaborate across departments, manage supplier and vendor relationships, and support inventory decisions that align with market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Planning & Coordination
- Translate demand forecasts into actionable supply plans across internal and third-party sources
- Monitor inventory health and proactively resolve supply gaps or surpluses
- Serve as the key liaison between Sales, Production, and Demand Planning
- Facilitate S&OP meetings and ensure clear communication of inventory constraints
- Engage directly managers, processors, vendors, and transportation partners
- Keep internal teams aligned and informed on supply status
- Manage logistics for inbound materials and finished goods
- Coordinate internal and third-party transportation to ensure OTIF performance
- Address disruptions and communicate supply plan changes swiftly
- Analyze inventory trends and optimize stock levels
- Monitor and report on KPIs: fill rate, inventory turns, days on hand
- Support commercial decisions related to excess inventory
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in planning and logistics
- Develop dashboards and tools to enhance planning visibility
- Use data to drive proactive supply chain decisions
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in supply planning, logistics, or production coordination (preferably in food or agriculture)
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and ERP platforms (NetSuite a plus)
- Proven ability to drive alignment across multiple departments and external partners
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and confident managing competing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field required
- MBA or advanced degree a plus
- 8+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Compensation
$76, 000 $92, 000 (compensation may be higher for exceptional experience)
