This person will report to the US GM and Global Procurement from China
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the rosters of suppliers, elaborate supplier selection, and evaluation, quality and performance measurement mechanisms
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual procurement plans and progress reports as required
Prepare service delivery contracts, leases, and purchase orders for all acquisition needs
Maintain procurement files including all relevant documentation and vendor tracking system s/he will maintain all the relevant information concerning the organization's suppliers
Manage vendor contracts and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure completeness of deliverables outlined in the contract this includes ensuring that all vendor complaints and concerns are addressed promptly to ensure that the project continues to receive uninterrupted services at all times
Requirements:
8+ years in-house procurement but high-performers with less experience are also encouraged to apply
Accept different industries' experiences but experienced with setting internal SOP
Strategic mindset and an ability to create seamless and creative solutions to challenging goals
Strong personal impact with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work across functions and disciplines and engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Strong independent drive to achieve success in the work
Requirements:
BA/BS degree
Mandarin Chinese is a plus but not required
8+ years of experience with the logistics procurement/ logistics/forwarding industry
Experience in setting internal SOP
