Parts Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Join a growing auto parts manufacturer in a developmental marketing role with career advancement opportunities.
In this role you will report to the Marketing Manager and develop, maintain, and grow the product portfolio, working on both long-term and short-term projects and working cross-functionally with sales, production, engineering, quality, purchasing, and operations.
What You’ll Be Dong:
You will be product-focused, working on identifying and adding new products to the portfolio, product change management sourcing, part number maintenance, and product obsoletion.
You’ll develop expertise in product areas and provide support throughout the organization, to customers, and suppliers.
With forecasting software, you’ll manage sales forecasting to plan for procurement and budget activities.
Work on pricing for new and custom products, profitability analysis, and create promotions.
You will assist in developing marketing materials from content creation, editing, and updating including online catalog, print catalog, literature, campaigns, etc.
It will be important you stay up to date on industry trends, key customers, and competitors through working with the sales team, customer outreach, industry events, research, and product analysis.
What You’ll Need for Success:
- 1-2 years of experience in product-based Marketing or Sales
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience in the auto industry (parts departments, repair shops, fleet management, trucking, etc.)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with a global supply chain
- Strong computer skills and experience using business software such as Office or ERP systems.
The base salary range for this role is $60, 000 to $90, 000. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
