Our client is a leading law firm that operates from a strategic platform of offices located in the Northeastern United States and Toronto. They are currently seeking a qualified candidate to join the Marketing Team as a multimedia specialist to serve as the primary team member responsible for strategic development and tactical execution of the firm's visual marketing communications across video, podcasts, social media, web, etc. Across all firm practice areas and initiatives.
Support multimedia marketing communications development
Be responsible for strategic development and tactical execution of the firm's multimedia marketing communications across a variety of channels (video, podcasts, social media, web, etc.) and across all firm practice areas and initiatives.
Work with senior marketing manager (design) to produce dynamic, high-quality multimedia materials (videos, podcasts, event invitations, other custom materials as needed, etc.).
Manage video projects from start to finish, including defining scope and strategy, scheduling, storyline and script and storyboard development, shooting, editing, key stakeholder management, and external vendor management as needed.
Produce the firm's Live podcast series, including equipment management, scheduling, internal stakeholder management, recording, editing, publishing, collaboration with department writers and digital marketers for promotion and analytics, etc. For two weekly and one bi-weekly podcast.
Compile and manage photo and video uploads in the firm's OneDrive folders for subsequent use in social media, on the website, in newsletters and emails, etc.
As needed, assist with attorney headshot photoshoots (working with the firm's external photographer).
As needed, provide back-up to tackle everyday " urgent needs on common design projects, including editing existing materials, creating ads and ad hoc visual materials, etc.
Review all internal and external materials to ensure visual aesthetic, format, and content are consistent with the firm's identity and style manual.
Help visually evolve attorney PowerPoint presentations to include more dynamic visual elements; ensure compliance with the firm's identity and style manual.
Communicate and collaborate with attorneys across the firm's geographic platform to discuss and review relevant projects; proactively follow up to obtain requested feedback.
Work closely with external vendors as needed to ensure the firm identity is represented accurately on all communications.
Collaborate with senior manager (design) on all projects.
Utilize SmartSheet to organize projects and meet all deadlines.
Attend and participate in weekly marketing team meetings. Lead technology plans for in-person, hybrid, and virtual meetings
Work with marketing event manager to produce high-quality events that require hybrid livestreaming, recording, etc.
Coordinate with the marketing event manager to understand meeting needs and logistical requirements.
Coordinate with IT as needed on internal firm technology and conference room equipment, etc.
Lead external supplier bid process and manage vendors across each project from start to finish.
Build a library of resources and continually learn new trends and technologies that can be used.
Social media and digital brand presence
Work with digital marketing manager to develop visual strategy for multimedia execution.
Develop multimedia content in collaboration with marketing writer and digital marketing manager.
Stay on top of evolving trends and recommend optimization wherever possible.
Strong aesthetic skills and creative focus, with an eye toward trends and technology in design, brand standards management, and consistent creative quality.
Proficiency in video recording and editing processes and software (Adobe After Effects, Premiere, etc.).
Proficiency in creating, producing, and publishing podcasts.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong grasp of social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter; Instagram and TikTok a plus).
Strong grasp of graphic design standards as applicable to branding and marketing.
Working knowledge of layouts, photography, and image manipulation.
Ability to translate complex communications needs into strategic marketing solutions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Undergraduate or graduate degree in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, or media studies, digital media production, or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
3-5 years of experience creating marketing communications in a corporate environment, preferably for a professional services firm or PR/marketing agency; experience in the broadcast journalism industry will also be considered.
