Job Description

Are you a ‘Type A’ at heart who loves working in fast-paced, corporate environments? Do you love marketing, planning, and coordinating events?

Our client is a leading law firm in the WNY area and is looking for someone to be the point person on strategy, scope, and objectives of events, conferences, webinars, and retreats throughout the year. You will have the opportunity to be a part of over 50 events and develop a strong network within both the law industry as well as with vendors and stakeholders. 

What You’ll Be Doing

You will use your top-notch organizational skills and attention to detail to manage the day-of-event production along with the planning, budgeting, and goals beforehand. Your ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects will be essential in this role.

Through creating and maintaining the marketing content calendar for events, you will contribute to firm-wide marketing activities.

Strong communication skills will be important in working with other members of the marketing team, in addition to working with many of the attorneys in order to manage expectations, time constraints, and needed resources.

Job Requirements

What You Will Need

The ideal person will have at least 2.5 years of experience managing and leading projects and/or events. A background within a marketing agency or professional service firm will be very helpful, though not required. 

 

Where You Will Be Doing This

Day-to-day you will be working remotely from either Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, or Albany. As you are the key day-of coordinator, you will need to be in person for particular events.
