Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant - Hybrid - 4 days in office
Our client is a well-established, mid-sized law firm experiencing continued growth and looking to expand its team. Their practice is built on collaboration, dedication to clients, and a supportive work environment. They are currently seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant to support 1-2 busy attorneys in a dynamic litigation practice.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in litigation support. You'll play a key role in case management, document preparation, and trial preparation. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to client outcomes while working in a team-oriented setting. Once fully trained, you'll have the flexibility to work remotely one day per week.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial support

Prepare, organize, and maintain case files, pleadings, and discovery materials

Draft and proofread legal documents including subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, correspondence, and basic motions

Maintain attorney calendars and manage deadlines (court dates, depositions, filings, etc.)

Coordinate with courts, clients, experts, and opposing counsel

Conduct factual and legal research as needed

Organize and manage document productions and filings (both electronic and physical)

Assist with preparing exhibits and trial binders

Perform other administrative and paralegal duties as needed
Qualifications:
-
4+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant

Strong understanding of litigation procedures and court rules (state and/or federal)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems

Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
Compensation:
$58, 000–$70, 000 (compensation may be higher for exceptional experience)
