General Manager - Spray Foam Insulation

Our client, a well established regional company with experience in the construction and environmental field needs a General Manager to run a department and develop new sales.
Job includes sales, safety, marketing and management of job site field crews in the spray foam and remedial insulation field. EH & S duties include experience and knowledge with MSDS, HAZ MAT / HAZ COM and OSHA regulations; do on-site inspections to prevent accidents, handle worker’s compensation; sales duties include expanding corporate marketplace presence through trade shows, mailings and advertising; set-up a business development sales plan; job also includes purchasing, research and select vendors and methodologies, negotiate pricing, procure materials on a “just in time” basis to control overhead and excess stock.
Our client is looking for someone with 5 + years in a middle or upper level management position with good business development skills; Ideal candidate would come from the spray foam and roofing background or the related construction field. Person should enjoy a fast paced environment with quick decisions and able to multi-task; job reports to President of company.

He was active with the Niagara Falls & Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, executive committee for the Porter Cup amateur golf tournament and was on the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation Board of Directors. He is currently an active member with the Williamsville Rotary Club.
