Financial Accountant
Job Description
Our client, a first-class organization located in Williamsville is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team.
What you will be doing:
Conduct analysis of financial results and account balances to identify and effectively communicate key variance drivers to managers
Assist in projects relating to the adoption of new accounting and regulatory guidance, automation of department processes and controls, and other areas that support executive management decision making
Preparation of various corporate financial statements, SEC filings, regulatory reporting, benefit plan and other management reports
Develop and apply an in-depth understanding of the Company's industry, business segments, and operations to support the Comany's financial accounting and reporting process
Special projects as assigned
What you will need:
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Working knowledge of GAAP
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Analytical and organizational skills
Preferred:
CPA Certificate (or the willingness to pursue this)
MBA or Masters in Accounting
2+ years in public accounting

The salary for this role is $60, 500 - 90, 000 per year, based on a 40 hour work week. This range represents the low and high end of the compensation range for this position. Actual compensation offered will vary based on various details.
