Director of Social Media

Hybrid (3 days per week in office)
With your proven experience in innovative brand-based social media skills, you will help build a new premium consumer goods brand from the ground up.
You will develop and oversee social media strategies across all channels with the goals of driving growth and increasing brand awareness.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll lead the overall management and growth of the social media platforms globally through creating social and content strategies, expanding reach, and developing innovative ideas and promotions to enhance reach, engagement, and community.
Manage the in-house social media team and external agencies assisting in Social Media activities ensuring alignment across all channels. This includes also making close partnership with internal groups including Brand and Marketing teams.
You will oversee and lead the editorial calendar and set goals, track, and analyze performance.
What You’ll Need for Success:
- 10-12 years of experience managing and launching social media brands.
- In-house consumer product industry experience from a growing innovative brand is required.
- Background in building and managing teams is required.
- Experience in a global environment is required.
- Proven success developing campaigns that have gained and maintained organic growth with proven sales results.
- Must have a strong acumen for social data analysis and measuring KPIs.
- Ability to commute to Van Nuys office 3 days per week.
The base salary range for this role is $150, 000 to $170, 000. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
