Use your experience not only to be a leader and mentor junior staff members, but you’ll also be leading audit engagements and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
 
What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be responsible for audit leadership, managing audit engagements, ensuring they are executed efficiently and in compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Prepare and review complex audit work papers, ensuring accuracy, and meeting firm standards.
 
You will build, maintain, and manage client relationships, and be the main point of contact in addressing and concerns or questions. You’ll be the advisor to clients providing insights and recommendations for improving financial process, controls, and reporting.
 
Supervise and mentor junior staff and review and evaluate the work of junior team members to ensure quality and accuracy.
 
Stay up to date on accounting and auditing standards, industry trends, and regulatory changes and continue to develop professionally through certifications and trainings to enhance knowledge and skills.
 
What You’ll Need for Success:

  • You will need a Bachelors degree in Accounting or related;CPA is preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in external auditing.
  • You’ll need a strong and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulations.
  • Ability to commute to Amherst, NY on a hybrid basis.


The base salary range for this role is $60, 000 to $80, 000. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
