Job Description
Associate Marketing Manager role with global medical related corporation in Buffalo, NY area, reporting to a Director of Marketing and Director of Sales.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate complete knowledge of products
- Work to introduce new products into a specialized market, from product inception to delivery to market
- Assist in managing the life cycle of products according to a strategic plan for North America
- Work directly with counterparts to execute company initiatives within the subsidiary
- Develop and implement integrated marketing plans to achieve sales rolling forecast while keeping expenses below budget
- Report marketing activities and resulting sales for each product within the business unit as required
- Work effectively with the Marketing Communications Department to complete campaigns, promotions, digital assets & literature
- Coordinate advertising/media plans and public relations for SBU with Marketing Communications department
- Develop, analyze and report on market research data for each SBU
- Help develop pricing strategies for products within the SBU
- Present content relative to products within the SBU to customers and internal stakeholders as required
- Work with education department to support courses and internal training initiatives for products within the SBU
- Align with the sales teams on strategies through the development of marketing and education tools
- Help to engage with distributors and external partners to align and implement strategies for products within the SBU
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- 3-5 years prior product management experience
- Excellent communication, organization & interpersonal skills
- Solution-oriented & innovative thinking skills
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite required
- Ability to travel, including international travel as necessary
