Job Description

Lead and oversee the daily accounting activities and supervision of team members of a Buffalo-based technology company.
 
In this role, you will need to be well versed in small business accounting and will monitor and analyze accounting data, financial reports and statements, and establish proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
 
What You’ll Be Doing:
 
You will oversee the daily operations of the QuickBooks accounting system including monthly invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, wire transfers, and processing checks and also help administer employee payroll and benefits.
 
You’ll maintain financial records and participate in audits or reconciliations.
 
You will develop, review, and improve administration systems, policies, and procedures making sure the company is compliant with all government regulations. Also, conduct occasional quality assurance audits of business processes and functions.
 
With strong communications and organizational skills, you’ll ensure smooth flow oof information within the company and help facilitate other business operations and coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
 
What You’ll Need for Success:

  • At least 4 years of experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, Accounting Software, and Databases.

 
The base salary range for this role is $75, 000 to $85, 000. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
