Supply Chain Manager
Job Description
As the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll join a small team and manage the flow of goods through all stages of the operational process including inventory oversight, logistics, purchase order management, warehouse coordination, and sourcing and procurement operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll develop and implement inventory management strategies, monitor inventory levels, and forecast demand to ensure optimal stock.
You will negotiate contracts with transportation providers and freight forwarders ensuring cost-effective and timely deliveries of goods. Additionally, coordinate shipments between factories, 3PL, and warehouse partners, and manage warehouse operations.
Manage the purchase order process from creation to fulfillment and collaborate with all suppliers and vendors on pricing, terms, and delivery. Source and negotiate with new manufacturers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective products.
You’ll oversee the development of new products, monitor market trends and competitors, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
What You’ll Need for Success:
- 3-5 years of experience in product development and supply chain management
- Ecommerce experience required;Beauty/fashion/cosmetics experience a plus.
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Experience managing end-to-end lifecycle of a product line
- Proven experience negotiating and securing favorable terms with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Located in the Phoenix area with the ability to commute to Scottsdale in the future.
