As Senior, Accountant you’ll be working in a small office environment, where you will play an integral role and have opportunities to grow your finance career with a company that also provides fantastic benefits.
What You’ll be Doing:
You will prepare internal and external financial reports along with operational data. Additionally, you’ll analyze and report information to support organizational initiatives and contribute to process improvements.
You’ll prepare budgets, forecasts, monthly/quarterly/yearly financials, and budget variance reports.
You will reconcile assigned accounts monthly, review/approve payable and receivables, review invoices for loans and shared services, audit employee expense reimbursements, assist with year-end audit work, and provide tax/990 support.
What You’ll Need for Success:
- 3-5 years of prior accounting experience
- Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent. Masters preferred.
- Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable
- Experience working for a non-for-profit a plus
- Ability to commute to Getzville, NY daily.
The base salary range for this role is $70, 000 to $75, 000 plus excellent benefits. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
